Mainstream media justifies its double standards

Anna, who "outed" the writer of the blog "Girl with a one track mind" has just written a justification of her actions, in light of the furore over Nightjack:

"As I found, you take on the bloggers at your own risk"

This girl - and she is a girl - makes some frighteningly authoritarian statements in this piece. I can't comment much more at present on account of being filled with white hot anger over her arrogance and all that is likely to result is swearing and threats of violence.

If you're a blogger yourself, make sure you read this article, this harridan is part of the upcoming new wave of talent, like Patrick Foster, in the media that is currently being nurtured for even "bigger" things. Its a warning of what's coming. This lot are nothing but a convention of shit sucking genetic defectives.

If you have some time on your hands, you could also do a lot worse than reading ex-FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds' excellent series, dissecting the U.S. MSM here

Thanks for the pointer, and good to see you back blogging.

I'm not quite sure what exactly she's trying to say, as she doesn't actually say...

A cynical moi would chalk the story up as simply another 'mad bad and dangerous to know' pop at bloggers, in anticipation of regulation sometime down the road :-(

Thanks for the comment Patrick!

I think you're right about the purpose behind the story - plus its some extra puff content plucked out of thin air, with no work (notice her comments on Chicken Yoghurt is particularly noteworthy - if you click on his 'about' section he reveals his identity - great research skills Anna!)

What galls me most is the utter hypocrisy and arrogance. For example, regarding the Times' 'Crime Central' section use of Police Blogs, as Inspector Leviathan notes over at his blog: "The duplicity and hypocrisy of it. Contrary to their claims, they evidently do consider police bloggers to be a 'source' of information for 'finding out what real coppers really think'."

Its a shame blogger doesn't do emoticons you know, because I think I'd use them a lot.

In fact - that gives me something to do which will calm me down, upload some emoticons that I can link to in blog posts....
